EILEEN K PARK
Eileen holds a BA in Communication Art from UCLA and began her career as a broadcast designer with NBC Sports in New York City. In this role, she developed branding images and motion graphics for high-profile programs such as Wall Street Journal, Geraldo, and Oprah, as well as various corporate videos. Her subsequent move to Boston allowed her to specialize in on-air images and branding for prominent cable networks including The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, ESPN, and PBS, among others.
After years of designing ephemeral TV graphics, Eileen shifted her focus to creating tangible art. She began experimenting with oil paints, driven by a desire to produce works that is more personal and intimate to her experiences.
“In this season of my life, I paint the truths I've known, to shed light on the path I’ve wandered, and to understand and create the purpose of my life. As I navigate through this journey, I hope my musings will touch your heart, intertwining our paths, and remind us both that we are not alone.”
Her process involves initial sketches on paper, digital refinement, and final transfer to canvas. The resulting compositions often diverge significantly from their original sketches or digital drafts, reflecting her ongoing exploration of visual expression.
Eileen’s work is characterized by a blend of traditional techniques and modern technology. She incorporates AI animation into her paintings, adding a dynamic element of motion that enhances her compositions. This innovative approach not only expands the possibilities for her art but also contributes to the emerging field of NFTs.
Currently based in Charlottesville, VA, Eileen continues to develop her practice, aiming to integrate classical methods with contemporary technology to create art that bridges past and future.

VCCA RESIDENECY 2025
In July 2025, Eileen Park was invited to participate in a residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, where she developed a body of work rooted in personal history and cultural reflection. Drawing from her upbringing within a patriarchal family structure, Park examined the formative lessons that shaped not only her own identity but also the dynamics of her family as a whole. Through this deeply introspective process, she shared lived experiences and observations from her past while offering a sense of hope—one grounded in the possibility of change through courage, self-reflection, and growth.
Her solo show in September of 2025 engaged themes of psychology, cultural inheritance, and the construction of identity, bridging intimate narrative with broader collective questions of belonging, transformation, and intergenerational evolution.
